Election is a formalized group decision-making process through which a population chooses an individual or multiple individuals to hold public office. Elections can also involve more than one person.

Election, John Mahama, Nana Addo

One of the most highly regarded elections in Ghana’s long and illustrious history was the 2020 election. The ruling party, led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo, was exerting every effort to ensure that it would continue to hold power.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), which was led by John Dramani Mahama and was vying for power alongside the party that was already in control, was in a close race with the incumbent party. After everything was said and done, NPP was announced as the victor of the race.

A great number of predictions regarding the results of the election were made before it even took place.

One of the prophecies that went viral on the internet involved an elderly woman who would be in her 80s at the time.

The old man who was speaking on Otec FM prophesied that she would never touch her bible again if John Dramani Mahama was elected president.

She did not react very well to the news after it was made public. The ire of the majority of Ghanaians who disapproved of her prophecy was expressed.

In today’s news, an old woman gave her reaction to Ghana’s economy while appearing on the morning show hosted by Captain Koda on Otec FM.

The host had asked her why God would choose a leader who he knew for a fact could not deliver for Ghanaians, and she gave her response to that question.

The conventional wisdom maintains that since God does not commit blunders, he must have a good reason for selecting Nana Addo as the leader of this nation.

The elderly lady continued by saying that if Mahama or another candidate had been elected, perhaps we would have faced even greater adversity than what we are currently facing.

We are obligated to give God the glory in everything that we do. It has merely bowed but has not broken; therefore, the people of Ghana should exercise patience because better times lie ahead.

Through the leadership of President Akuffo Addo, God will transform the face of this nation.

I am aware that, despite his best efforts, there are some Ghanaians who will not support him.

There are still going to be some members of the opposition who criticize him and try to bring him down, but with God on your side, anything is possible.
